The holidays are just around the corner- have you started decorating yet?  My Christmas style is Neutral Farmhouse and I’m always looking for some new finds to add to my decor each year!   Today, I’m sharing with you the best Christmas Farmhouse Decor for your Home.

Christmas Neutral Farmhouse Finds

I usually start decorating for Christmas the weekend after Remembrance Day in Canada.  It takes an entire weekend to get everything down from the attic and displayed around the home.  It’s a pajama kinda weekend, with Christmas music playing in the background, the fire going and my favorite Christmas scented candle making the house smell delicious!

This year, however, we are in the middle of a renovation addition and my house is a disaster.  I literally have my vacuum out non-stop and find myself continuously cleaning up all the dust and mess on a daily basis.

It’s hard to get into the Christmas decorating spirit at the moment.  We are working hard to get the new dining room all drywalled and the mess cleaned up for the holidays.

But…that doesn’t mean that I’m not still searching out cute Christmas decor items for our home!  In fact, I’ve already picked up some new items to add to our style…and I’m super excited to add them to the collection.

And that’s why today I wanted to share with you some Christmas Farmhouse Decor.   Enjoy~

Neutral Farmhouse Christmas Finds

  • Christmas Trees

    • This year, all the rage are flocked trees.  What are flocked trees?  They are Christmas trees that look like the snow has touched the ends of the branches.  They are super pretty!
    • Another option is more of a blue spruce look.  I’ve been eyeing some at the National Tree Company.  I love the bluish-green color of the tree as it works well with my coastal modern farmhouse style.
    • Finally, the slim Christmas trees are great for small spaces, or extra trees to put up around your home in bedrooms, dining rooms, or even the front entryway!
  • Wreaths & Door Hangers

    • Adding an artificial Christmas wreath to your front door adds instant charm and a welcoming touch for guests.  But really, wreaths can go anywhere in your home- on your range hood, the back of your island stools, or even in your dining room windows!
    • Door hangers are another cute option to display on your front door or even pantry door.
  • Garlands

    • What kind of garland do you use in your home?  There are so many great artificial garland greenery styles that already come with lights stringed to them!
    • Perhaps you might like to add a banner garland or beaded garland to your fireplace decor too.
  • Tabletop Decor

    • Adding some neutral Christmas Farmhouse decor on your dining room table or up in your bookcases is a great idea to continue spreading the holiday spirit.  Some popular items this year are bottle brush trees, deer, or the vintage red truck.
  • Family Matching PJ’sMatching Merry Family Christmas Tree Pajamas Set, Holiday Xmas PJs, Plaid Printed Sleepwear for Women Men Kids Couples…

      • Ok- who does this tradition?  There are so many options for cute matching family pajamas to hang around in all Christmas Day, but the ones to the side are my fav of the season!
  • Stockings

    • The stockings are hung by the chimney with care.  Check out these super cozy neutral stockings that are perfect to add some farmhouse charm to your fireplace mantel.
    • And have you thought about some fun tin buckets to place at the bottom of your fireplace.  Add some logs or pillows & blankets to these buckets and you have just created a cozy look.
  •  Tree Collars

    • I purchased my first tree collar last year and I can’t wait to use it again this year.  Tree Collars are very trendy right now instead of using a tree skirt.  Mine is a galvanized tin tree collar.
  • Advent Countdowns

    • If you have kids, then most likely you are counting down the days until Christmas.  Instead of having the typical chocolate advent calendars, try getting a special advent calendar that holds secret gifts or messages inside.  What a fun family activity leading up to Christmas!
  • Ornaments

    • Adding some neutral farmhouse ornaments could include adding some burlap accents, or wood ornaments, or simple neutral filler ornaments too.  I made my own DIY Wood ornaments last year that turned out great and the best part was that it was an easy DIY project at home.
